El diario The Guardian, conocido popularmente como "The Grauniad" por sus frecuentes errores tipográficos, arremete contra la selección española de baloncesto tachando una fotografía promocional de irresponsable y de poder ser interpretada como racista. Y ya de paso, para rellenar, recuerda lo racistas que somos en España, como todo el mundo ya sabe. Una nación repleta de skin heads (término de raiz claramente hispánica) y donde bebemos un ron que se llama Negrita, que escándalo! (y el licor Blanca de Navarra, no te quiero ni contar...)

Lo curioso del tema es que es una marca china de ropa deportiva la que patrocina al equipo español y según su director de relaciones públicas, Frank Zhang: “We don’t think this is an insulting gesture to the Chinese, in fact, the gesture shows that the Spanish team is so humorous, relaxing and cute. They sat around a dragon pattern, which we think showed respect to the Chinese".
Pero nuestros amigos del otro lado del canal siempre en Guardian para ayudarnos, evitar que nos cojan manía en Pekín y defender el honor de los indefensos y ofendidos chinos...¿¿POR QUÉ NOS QUERÉIS TANTO, HIJOS DE LA GRAN BRETAÑA??

Advert could lead to backlash from Chinese host
Spain's Basketball Federation has published a good luck advert for their men's team, the world champions, in which they stand pulling at the sides of their eyes in a slit-eyed gesture.
There is no obvious intention to upset their Olympic hosts in Beijing, but the irresponsible picture is likely to cause controversy and could be interpreted so as to lead to accusations of racism.
Spanish sport has been mired in rows over racism in the last few years. In November 2004 black English footballers were subjected to relentless racial barracking from home supporters in a match in Spain. Before the World Cup there were calls for Luis Aragones, then Spain's football coach, to be sacked after he called Thierry Henry a "black shit". And last year Lewis Hamilton suffered racist abuse during testing for the Spanish grand prix near Barcelona.
